ASAJAYA: A man was trapped under a crane yesterday after it collapsed at Asajaya Hulu here.
According to a fire operations commander, the incident occurred at12.50pm.
After receiving a distress call, the fire and rescue station here despatched a team of 11 firefighters led by PBK I Mosli Salim to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team found that the victim’s leg was pinned down by the crane.
The firefighters, with the help of a nearby excavator, managed to pull away the crane and extricate the victim safely.
The victim was sent to the hospital.
