PADAWAN: A local man was rescued after sustaining a neck injury in a forest near a quarry in Beratok, Jalan Kuching–Serian, here yesterday (Dec 30).

The 25-year-old victim was found in a weakened condition with bleeding injuries to his neck at the bottom of an elevated area, estimated to be about 10 metres deep.

It was unclear how the incident occurred.
