KUCHING: Deputy Chief Minster Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Masing, who is also the president of Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) expressed his pleasure over the appointment of Snowdan Lawan as an Assistant Minister (for Youth and Sports).
He said the Chief Minister had listened to PRS’ aspiration and needs.
“Snowdan’s youth will fit the appointment as Assistant Minister of Youth and Sports. It is like putting ‘square peg into a square hole”, he added.
“PRS now has one full minister and four assistant ministers in the state cabinet.
Bit by bit we, as a party, are moving forward. All PRS members need to do is to stay united, stay loyal to party struggle and don’t get bogged down by personal agenda,” said Masing.
He said PBB remained strong over the years because members remained loyal and united.
“This was the message PBB leaders were saying this morning. Other parties should emulate if they are to remain strong,” he added.
