KUCHING: Kuching South City Hall (MBKS) mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng paid a visit to the fire scene in Pending area here on Thursday morning, said a statement.
The fire that broke out the same morning affected a semi-detached warehouse. Although no casualty occurred, the family that looked after the premises lost their belongings.
Datuk Wee was accompanied by Councillor Kho Teck Wan during the visit.
He thanked the Fire and Rescue Services Department (Bomba) Team for their prompt action in extinguishing the fire, the statement concluded.
