KUCHING: The Kuching South City Council (MBKS) is dedicated to enhancing the city for the benefit of its residents.

Its Mayor Datuk Wee Hong Seng thus called upon the councillors, heads of department, and all staff to continue together as one strong, united team.

“Let us support each other, communicate openly and collaborate effectively for the betterment of our city and the people we serve,” he said.

He said this during the MBKS Hari Raya Aidilfitri gathering held at the MBKS foyer here today (Apr 28).

Wee expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate with the council’s staff, who gathered in high spirits on the last day of Syawal.

“Hari Raya celebration is not just a festivity, it is a reminder of the importance of unity, understanding, and mutual respect.

“This celebration is the true reflection of the unity that we want to continuously build and strengthen within our city administration.
