KUCHING: MEASAT Satellite Systems Sdn Bhd (MEASAT) outlined its future plans for Sarawak during a courtesy visit to Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at his office in the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Complex.
During the visit on Thursday, MEASAT’s Chief Operating Officer, Yau Chyong Lim, said that they also briefed the Premier on MEASAT’s contributions and involvement in communications within Sarawak.
He also mentioned that MEASAT has been appointed as a consultant by the Sarawak Multimedia Authority (SMA) to develop Sarawak’s aerospace roadmap.
“We are assisting SMA in the development of the plan, which has already been presented to the Premier,” he said to the media after the visit.
He added that further details on the plan will be announced by Abang Johari at an appropriate time.
