SARIKEI: Police arrested a mechanic suspected of being involved in drug abuse at a workshop at Jalan Minah here yesterday.
Sarikei District Police chief, Superintendent Mat Jusoh Mohamad said the 26-year-old was picked up at 1.50pm following a public tipoff.
He said the suspect tested positive for amphetamine and methamphetamine and police were investigating the case under Section 15(1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act.
