MIRI: Mercure Miri City Centre has been recognised in the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2026, placing the hotel among the top 10 per cent of hospitality listings worldwide based on guest reviews and ratings over the past 12 months.
The recognition is awarded to hospitality businesses that consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences and receive excellent reviews from travellers around the world.
General Manager Shan Ravendran said the accolade reflects not only the hotel’s commitment to service excellence but also showcases Miri and northern Sarawak as an attractive destination for international travellers.
“This achievement would not have been possible without the trust and support of our valued guests who have shared their experiences, as well as our passionate Heartists whose dedication continues to create memorable stays every day.
“At Mercure Miri City Centre, we believe travel is about discovering the unique stories of a destination,” he said in a recent statement.
