SIBU: A single-storey terrace house at Sibu Jaya was razed by fire this afternoon.
Quick action by local firefighters managed to prevent the house from being completely burned down and also prevented the blaze from spreading to adjacent houses.
The fire is believed to have started in a bedroom of the house at around 2.20pm.
There were no occupants in the house during the incident. The cause of the fire and loss to properties are yet to be ascertained.
