KUCHING: Kuching City FC striker, Jordan Mintah, has been ruled out of Harimau Malaya’s centralised training ahead of the Asian Cup qualifier against Nepal on Nov 18 at the National Stadium, Bukit Jalil.

Mintah withdrew due to health reasons, prompting national coach Peter Cklamovski to call up Negeri Sembilan forward Luqman Hakim Shamsudin as his replacement.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) confirmed the change in a statement today (Nov 11).
Mintah’s absence is a setback, as the Ghana-born striker was awaiting FIFA clearance to represent Malaysia after completing five years of residency –
a move that would have marked his long-awaited debut for the national team.
Luqman, 23, who last featured for Malaysia in 2022, brings nine international caps and renewed attacking depth to the squad.
