MIRI: A 27-year-old local man has been arrested here on suspicion of stealing motorcycle components, following a targeted police operation on Wednesday (Dec 10) ).
The arrest was carried out by a team led by ASP Goldy Jangan. The operation took place at about 9.40 pm in the Miri area.
Police also seized a motorcycle believed to be fitted with an engine taken from a stolen machine.
The suspect is being held at the central police station lock-up as investigators pursue the case under Section 379A of the Penal Code.
