MIRI: The Miri Division Pickleball Association (MDPA) is set to host the Miri division closed pickleball Under-19 tournament 2025 on April 26-27 at the Paragon Pickleball Centre, Miri.
Now in its third consecutive year, the tournament reflects the growing popularity of pickleball among young athletes in the division.
According to a statement made by MDPA, this year’s event will feature five categories: Boys’ Singles, Girls’ Singles, Boys’ Doubles, Girls’ Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.
Participants will compete in two age groups – Under-16 and Under-19 – with each player eligible to take part in up to three divisions.
The MDPA is actively encouraging more schools to participate, aiming to further promote the sport among students while identifying and nurturing emerging talent for future competitions.
The registration fee is RM10 per player, with the deadline set for April 20.
