BAU: A 78-year-old man who had been missing for four days at a hill near Tasik Biru here has been found safe but weak this morning (Feb 24).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call at 11.38 am requesting assistance to bring the elderly man down from the hill after he was located by family members.
A Bomba spokesperson said the victim, identified as Liew Kim Ted, was conscious and in stable condition when firefighters arrived at the scene.
“He was brought down using a stretcher before being handed over to the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) unit at the foot of the hill for further treatment,” he said.
