KUCHING: A senior citizen who was reported missing after going to a nearby farm in Kampung Bengang in Lundu was found safe by rescuers last Friday night.
According to the State Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), Tanjung Hanum, 77, who went to the farm in the morning was reported missing by his family members after he failed to return around 6.00pm.
A search and rescue (SAR) operation was carried out at 6.36pm and the victim was found by the SAR team about 200 metres from his house.
Five firefighters, three police personnel and 10 villagers took part in the search which ended at 7.55pm.
