MIRI: The Civil Defence Force (APM) here took about 10 minutes to destroy a bee hive at Jalan Jee Foh Krokop 1 on Monday night.
Miri APM officer, Captain Mohd Hazle Shah Hamid said his men rushed to the scene at 10.17pm after receiving a call on the discovery of a bee hive.
“Three personnel were ordered to destroy the bee hive. Upon arrival at the scene my men discovered a bee hive the size of a football ball on a bougainvillea tree about two metres high.
“My men then spayed the hive with insecticide before setting it ablaze,” he said, adding that the mission concluded successfully at 10.40pm.
