BINTULU: Malaysia LNG Group of Companies (MLNG), a subsidiary of PETRONAS, has been actively providing assistance and donations to flood victims here since the first day of flooding.
The aid includes food and beverage packages, which have been distributed to 1,450 affected families.
In addition, MLNG has supplied fuel and transportation to help relocate victims to Temporary Relief Centres (PPS).
The handover of these donations was made at three key locations within PPS, namely Dewan Suarah Bintulu, PPS Balai Raya Jepak and PPS SMK Assyakirin, Sungai Plan attended by MLNG Group of Companies chief executive officer Mohamed Syazwan Abdullah @ Laga Jenggi.


The assistance was also given to staff at the Disaster Operations Control Room, Bintulu Resident Office and District Office, and Sebauh District Office.
Mohamed Syazwan emphasised MLNG’s commitment to working closely with government agencies and stakeholders to support flood victims in Bintulu.
“We will continue our efforts to assist communities affected by this calamity and ensure that victims receive the necessary aid to help them rebuild their daily lives,” he said.
