Kuala Lumpur: MOMOYO, Malaysia’s innovative dessert and beverage brand, together with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia (MOTAC), today unveiled the National Day Limited BATIK ‘YoFlip’ – Malaysia’s first-ever flippable ice cream – at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, in celebration of Malaysia’s 68th National Day.
With its unique flip-cup design, YoFlip can be turned upside down without spilling, offering a playful surprise in every serving.
The BATIK Edition features a special cup design inspired by Malaysia’s iconic batik heritage, combining fun, creamy indulgence, and cultural pride in one treat you can hold in your hands.
“This collaboration is more than just dessert – it’s about celebrating Malaysia’s creativity, cultural heritage, and unity in one cup you can hold, flip, and enjoy,” said Alex Tan, General Manager of MOMOYO Malaysia.
The launch event drew an enthusiastic crowd of food lovers, with guests joining live flip demonstrations and sharing their experiences widely on social media.
The hashtags #MOMOYOYoFlip and #MOMOYO quickly trended nationwide, cementing YoFlip as one of the most talked-about desserts of the season.

Aggressive Expansion Target: 600 Outlets Nationwide
In addition to the product launch, MOMOYO announced ambitious expansion plans. Since entering the Malaysian market in April 2024, the brand has opened over 150 outlets nationwide.
The target for 2025 is to grow to 250 outlets, followed by 300-400 outlets in 2026, with the ultimate goal of reaching 600 outlets to cover all major cities and tier-2/3 markets across the country.
Founded in 2022, MOMOYO has carved its niche with an affordable pricing strategy, offering fresh fruit teas and ice cream in the RM5-RM10 range, making it easy for consumers to enjoy quality beverages without financial strain.
The brand uses fresh fruits in all products and has completed halal certification, with 99 per cent of staff being Malaysians.
MOMOYO plans to launch 6-8 new products annually, including a ‘Malaysian Favourites’ range featuring white coffee, durian fruit tea, Milo ice cream, and lime ice beverages.
Bakery items will also be introduced in the future to enrich the menu.
