MUKAH: Fire victims of Kampung Penakub Ulu here received further donations from the public.
The Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) and Neighbourhood Watch (KRT) of Kampung Penakub Ulu contributed cash and foodstuff to the victims recently.
Representatives handed over their contributions jointly in a simple ceremony near the site of the burnt house.
Kapitan Kueh Bing Chuan and Ketua Kaum Jefri Musa were present.
Fourteen people from two families were left homeless in a fire which occurred on Feb 15 at 9.15am.
No injuries or fatalities were reported.
