KOTA SAMARAHAN: A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries after crashing into the rear of a parked lorry in front of Aiman Mall here today (Feb 28).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), in a statement, said an emergency call on the incident was received at 1.48 am.
“The accident involved a motorcycle crashing into the rear of a lorry parked by the roadside. A 20-year-old victim was found trapped and suffered serious injuries to his body,” said the statement today (Feb 28).
The rescue team used a hydraulic ram to widen the rear section of the lorry to free the victim.
“The victim was then handed over to paramedics for treatment at the scene and later transportation to hospital,” it added.
