KUCHING: A man and his son were injured in a hit-and-run accident at Jalan Datuk Marican Salleh, here on Tuesday.
The victims were identified as Noran Buang, 46, and his son Mohd Nor Amri, 22.
According to State Traffic Investigation and Enforcement chief Supt Alexson Naga Chabu, the 1.56pm incident happened when a van rear-ended the victims’ motorcycle and immediately fled the scene.
“The injured victims were taken to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further treatment,” he added.
Police are tracking down the van involved in the hit-and-run.
