MIRI: Three men were seriously injured when two motorcycles they were riding crashed into the back of a lorry parked on the shoulder of a road.
The accident happened at about 10pm on Sunday at Jalan Persisiran Pantai Miri here.
The three men, who were injured, were in their 20s. Staff of an eatery, they were said to be heading back to their homes in Bekenu from their workplace.
According to a source, the accident happened because the motorcycles could not stop in time.
“As a result of the crash, two of the victims suffered broken legs while another one suffered serious head injuries”
All three victims were rushed to Miri Hospital in an ambulance for further treatment.
The traffic police rushed to the accident scene after being informed of it.
