KUCHING: A historic memorandum of understanding (MoU) between RJ Realty (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, the award-winning real-estate development company and Green Building Index (GBI) was inked for RJ Group to go for accreditation of its property projects.
Group chief executive officer of RJ Group of Companies Datuk Lily Lim added that this is the next notable endeavour of RJ Group in its journey in building quality homes for present and future generations with special emphasis on sustainability through embracing the green building concept.
“This is in line with Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg’s aspiration and leadership and the Sarawak Housing and Real Estate Developers’ Association (SHEDA)’s outreach efforts.
“We believe that through attaining GBI certification, which meets both the international standard of green rating as well as its physical performance of the building,
“We are able to distinguish ourselves as a responsible real estate developer with the interest of our homeowner’s and the environment in mind,” she said during the MoU signing ceremony at RJ Realty’s office here yesterday.

She stated that through the MoU with Green Building Index and the appointment of Greenscapes, RJ Group’s latest development, d’Isabelle, will be the first high-rise residential development in Sarawak to pursue Green Building Index Certification.
“d’Isabelle, located at Jalan Dogan here will feature 330 units of apartments with commercial spaces to the locale.
“The elevated facilities level at d’Isabelle will feature a myriad of green spaces for outdoor lounging and exercise.
“Other lifestyle amenities on offer cater to all walks of life, including a family room with a kids’ play area as well as showcasing exclusively three and 3+1 bedroom floor plans with well-appointed spatial proportions,” she added.

On another note, RJ Group director, Ryonna Chuo stated that they have curated the spaces for a new generation of homeowners with the tagline, “A Home of Our Own”.
