TATAU: In conjunction with the Ramadan celebration this year, Selangau Member of Parliament, Edwin Banta, did not want to miss the opportunity to celebrate it by donating 241 boxes of dates to the residents of Kampung Baharu and Kampung Dagang Tatau.
The dates’ donation was handed over by the staff at the Selangau MP Service Centre, Morris Johnny, to the chief of Kampung Dagang Tatau, Satem Ghapar, and the chief of Kampung Baharu Tatau, Ahmad Mohd Mokthar.
The Administrative Officer at the Tatau District Office, Raden Azamry Raden Perhan, was present to witness the symbolic handover of the donation.
Edwin hopes that this year’s Ramadan will be celebrated with full piety by Muslims and that all practices and worship will be accepted by Allah and rewarded accordingly.
