SIMANGGANG: Contributions totalling RM207,700 have been handed over to 22 associations, including 12 village security and development committees (JKKK) of Sri Aman division by Sri Aman MP Datuk Seri Doris Sophia Brodi.
During the handing over, Doris said the contributions in the form of Outright Grant cheques were also given to church and primary schools clubs and associations as well as the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA).
“I hope with the grants, the community leaders will be able to make the best use of the allocation as well as according to their needs in organising their respective community activities.
“This provision is an outright grant to residents in the parliamentary constituency for their use to carry out their respective activities.
“The handover of these cheques is intended for essential needs, including urgent ones in the village,” she said.
The ceremony was held at Sri Aman P202 Service Centre here, recently.
