SIBU: The 16th Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Sibu Chapter Charity Run, held here yesterday,has raised a total of RM50, 000.
In conjunction with the run, Ta Ann Group Company also donated RM10,000 to the MRC Sibu Chapter.
Speaking at the event, organising chairperson, Teresa Wong Sui Kiew expressed her appreciation to Ta Ann Group Company and the public for their generous donations.
“I would also like to thank all the participants for spending their weekend time to participate in this annual event,” she added.
The charity event was attended by about 300 participants. It aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle among the Sibu community while contributing funds to help MRC carry out its charitable activities.
