KUALA LUMPUR: Muay thai legend, Buakaw Banchamek, continues his dominance in the combat sport with a masterful victory over contender, Meng Gaofeng, from China in Friday night’s T-Fight All Star match at Titiwangsa Stadium.

Buakaw showed great control and accuracy in managing Meng’s aggressive strikes, winning the bout through his high level of discipline against the younger opponent through jury decision.

He also continues to be the championship’s major draw, as he cements his standing as one of the most influential muay thai icons globally.

Earlier on Friday night, local professional muay thai exponent, Umar Usman Abu Bakar, easily defeated experienced fighter, Daraeak of Thailand, with a TKO decision.

Umar admitted that the fight was not as easy as it seemed but said that Buakaw’s presence did inspire him to put on his best performance. – BERNAMA
