MUKAH: Events commemorating the second anniversary of the passing of the late Chief Minister Pehin Sri Adenan Satem were held here on Saturday night (Jan 12).
For the Muslims, they attended a “tahlil” and “doa arwah” (during Solat Maghrib and Solat Isya) at Masjid Setia Raja starting at 6pm.
For the Christians, they had a special prayer for Tok Nan and former leaders during their Sunset Mass held at Saints Peter and Paul’s Church about a kilometre from Mukah Old Town.
The special religious gatherings were followed with dinners at the respective mosque and Catholic Hall.
