KUCHING: The MySeDidik Apps is now fully utilised across all 107 centres statewide, marking a major step in the digital transformation of early childhood education services in Sarawak.

Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah said the application was designed to streamline the administration and operations of SeDidik centres while supporting teachers, parents and children’s development.

She said the platform functions as a comprehensive ecosystem integrating management systems, teacher support and parental involvement to ensure children’s development is more organised, inclusive and holistic.

“The platform was developed in line with the Post-COVID-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 agenda to strengthen digitalisation in early childhood education,” she said during the SeDidik Teachers’ Day celebration at the Raia Hotel & Convention Centre here last night (May 16).

Fatimah said the digital platform was introduced to ensure no SeDidik centre would be left behind in the state’s digital transformation efforts.

“To support digitalisation, SeDidik has equipped all 107 centres throughout Sarawak with laptops,” she said.

She added that 100 TASKA and TADIKA centres already have internet access, while infrastructure upgrades for internet connectivity at the remaining seven centres are still ongoing.

The MySeDidik Apps project began as a pilot initiative at TASKA and TADIKA Pending in November 2024 before being expanded statewide in January 2025.

Fatimah said the application has been fully utilised across all SeDidik centres since 2026.

She said the platform also strengthens parental involvement by allowing easier access to information regarding children’s development and activities.

“The platform functions as a complete ecosystem integrating management, teacher support and parental involvement,” she said.
