KUCHING: Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) has re-appointed Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi as its secretary-general.
His appointment was announced by Premier and PBB president Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during the party’s 16th Triennial General Meeting at Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) here today (Feb 16).
“After discussing with the deputy presidents and senior vice presidents, we proposed to appoint Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi to be secretary-general of our party,” he said.
Earlier, Abang Johari also announced the appointment of two auditors.
“They are Salihin Abang, who is an accountant and (former Betong MP) Datuk Robert Lawson Chuat.
“Both have expressed their readiness to serve with the party. Thank you,” he said.
The meeting also saw three party members appointed as trustees, namely Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan, and Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.
