KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia has suspended intraday short selling (IDSS) for NationGate Holdings Bhd after its share price fell over 15 per cent or 15 sen from the reference price.
Trading under IDSS will resume at 8.30 am today, the exchange said.
As of 11.48 am yesterday, NationGate shares were down 19 sen to RM1.14, with 48.34 million shares traded.
Last Monday, Bursa Malaysia Securities queried the company over its sharp price drop.
NationGate responded that there were no undisclosed corporate developments affecting its business.
The company also clarified that it is not involved in the ongoing Singapore court case where three individuals were charged with fraud over alleged movement of Nvidia chips. – BERNAMA
