KUALA LUMPUR: A man from Negeri Sembilan struck it big after winning the Supreme Toto 6/58 Jackpot, walking away with a staggering RM33.9 million prize recently.
The 46-year-old winner secured the life-changing jackpot during the Sports Toto draw held on May 27 using his favourite set of carefully selected numbers.
STM Lottery Sdn. Bhd. said in a press statement today (May 29) that the winning combination consisted of the numbers 3, 7, 10, 38, 42 and 52.
According to the winner, he had been playing Sports Toto games for decades and would usually spend around RM20 per draw whenever jackpot amounts climbed to higher levels.
He revealed that the winning numbers came from one of his long-time favourite combinations, which he had consistently used for several months with occasional adjustments.
“Last week, I had a very strong feeling that I was going to win something big, and my intuition turned out to be right,” he said.
The winner only discovered his extraordinary fortune after a friend informed him that someone had won the Toto jackpot, prompting him to immediately check his ticket.
Upon verifying the numbers, he was shocked to realise that he had become the jackpot winner.
“I was so happy that I could not sleep the entire night. I kept rechecking my ticket again and again,” he added.
