KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud yesterday received a courtesy visit from the state Broadcasting Department (RTM) director Zainal Abidin Asri Abdul Wahid in Demak Jaya here.
It was Zainal’s first courtesy call after being appointed as the new RTM Sarawak director middle of December last year.
Prior to his posting to Sarawak, Zainal was serving at RTM Angkasapuri in Kuala Lumpur. He had also served in several other stations including Kedah, Johor, Langkawi and Negeri Sembilan.
Also present were his deputy Tabad Sakai and senior assistant director for Radio Section Zulkefli Mohd.
