“Although it took over a decade, my proposal was finally approved and implemented under the 12th Malaysia Plan (RMK-12),” he said on Thursday (Feb 20).

With a total cost of RM12 million, the new SMK Saribas building is now nearing completion, promising a more conducive learning environment for students and teachers.

Razi expressed hope that the modern infrastructure would foster effective and high-quality education, ensuring a brighter future for students.

“Upgrading SMK Saribas is a major step toward ensuring its continued growth and success,” he added.

SMK Saribas has a long-standing reputation for producing outstanding students, particularly in national examinations such as the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) and Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM).

“Year after year, this school has proven that its students can achieve excellent academic results at the national level.

“These successes not only bring pride to the school but also to the local community, which has always supported efforts to enhance education quality,” he said.

As the Saribas assemblyman, Razi reaffirmed his commitment to continuously supporting and developing educational institutions in the region.

“As a representative of the people, I feel responsible for ensuring that education in Saribas continues to advance,” he said.

He also pledged to support schools in Saribas to ensure students receive the best possible opportunities for academic success.
