SIMANGGANG: New visiting hours at Sri Aman Hospital will take effect on March 1.

Director Dr Hazwani Mohd Yusop said that next of kin or individuals wishing to visit patients in the ward must adhere to the designated times and rules.

“For Monday to Friday, visiting hours are set from 12.30pm to 2 pm and 4.30 pm to 7 pm.

“On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, visiting hours are from 12.30 pm to 7 pm,” she said in the notice.

She explained that each patient is allowed only two visitors at a time.

“While patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), only one visitor is permitted.

“Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to visit, except in certain situations with the permission of the medical officer on duty,” she added.

Visitors are required to wear a face mask while visiting.

Special permission to visit the Psychiatric Ward is subject to the approval of the medical officer to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all parties.
