MIRI: The Miri City Council (MCC) is delighted to announce the official opening of the newly enhanced suspension bridge at Taman Awam Miri.

MCC in its statement said the revitalised landmark is set to enhance the accessibility of the park, offering visitors a scenic and immersive way to experience its natural surroundings.

“Designed to improve pedestrian connectivity and provide a picturesque pathway, the suspension bridge promises to be a key attraction for both residents and tourists, whether for a stroll, a photography spot, or simply to enjoy the breathtaking views.

“Beyond its aesthetic and recreational appeal, safety remains our utmost priority.

“The bridge has been reinforced with upgraded structural elements, safety features, and clear signage to ensure a secure and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

“The bridge has been built to the highest standards to ensure the safety and well-being of all those who use it,” it said

MCC extend its heartfelt appreciation to everyone involved in the planning, design, and repairing work of this project.

“Your dedication and hard work have resulted in a remarkable addition to Miri’s landscape – one that will be enjoyed by generations to come,” MCC added.

The council warmly invites the public to visit and experience this feature at Taman Awam, Miri.
