KUALA LUMPUR: Northern Solar Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Northern Solar Sdn Bhd, has won two contracts totalling RM119.38 million.

In a Bursa Malaysia filing, the solar energy contract said Northern Solar accepted two letters of award on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, from an undisclosed onshore goods supply contractor.

It said one contract, valued at RM47.52 million, covers Plot-B construction works, while the second, worth RM71.86 million, relates to the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of collector lines and SPP-IF.

No additional details regarding the contracts were provided in the Bursa filing.

“The tenure of the awards has yet to be finalised, adding that a further announcement will be made upon the execution of a formal subcontract agreement,” it said.

Northern Solar expects the contracts to contribute positively to earnings and net assets per share from the financial year ending March 31, 2026, onwards. – BERNAMA
