MIRI: The Northern Sarawak Journalists Association (NSJA) has secured a generous sponsorship from Very Mart for its upcoming ‘Ngiling Bidai’ event, the closing ceremony of the Gawai Dayak celebration, set to take place yesterday (June 24).
Very Mart has contributed an array of kitchen appliances as lucky draw prizes for the event.
The donations were officially handed over by Daniel Hii, the manager of Very Mart, to the NSJA committee members at the Very Mart branch in Centre Point, Miri, on today (June 25).
The sponsored items include a steam cooker set, an electric rice cooker, a bowl set, among other kitchen essentials.
Rosemaria Kembang Buma, the chairperson of the programme organising committee, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to Very Mart for their support.
“We are deeply thankful to Very Mart for their generous sponsorship. This contribution not only helps to enliven our celebration but also signifies the public’s support and appreciation for the hard work of media practitioners.”
