KUCHING: State Legislative Assembly (DUN) Secretary Nur Azhar Bujang took his oath of reappointment at a swearing-in ceremony held at the DUN Complex here today.
The oath was administered before DUN Speaker Tan Sri Datuk Amar Mohamad Asfia Awang Nassar.
Also present were Deputy Speaker Datuk Idris Buang and Senior Counsel from the Sarawak Attorney General’s Chambers Dr Jady @ Zaidi Hassim.
This marks Nur Azhar’s reappointment after he was first sworn in as DUN Secretary in 2024, replacing Dewan Negara member Senator Pele Peter Tinggom.
The reappointment reflects continued confidence in his leadership, experience and commitment in carrying out his responsibilities.
The ceremony also symbolised administrative continuity and the strengthening of the state’s legislative institution in ensuring the smooth functioning of the DUN.
