BELAGA: The Apau Koyan Anjung Usahawan One-Stop Centre is expected to benefit and develop the local economy in the Sungai Asap area.
Murum assemblyman, Kennedy Chukpai Ugon, said the centre aims to serve as a one-stop facility for small businesses to larger-scale enterprises.
“We hope that this project will raise the economic standards of the residents, create job opportunities in the business sector and promote optimal use of resources as well as the use of local entrepreneurs’ products,” he said in a statement following his site visit and discussion regarding the one-stop centre recently.
According to Chukpai, the project is one of the ‘projek rakyat’ that was approved by the Premier and has long been awaited for implementation. “With strong cooperation from all parties, we hope that this project can be carried out promptly to benefit our community, especially our youth,” he said.
