WASHINGTON: ChatGPT’s parent company, OpenAI, has introduced a new Whatsapp feature, allowing US users to talk to the chatbot, the German news agency dpa reported.
One 15-minute voice conversation with the chatbot per month is free of charge, OpenAI said on Wednesday. Users outside the United States can text ChatGPT via Whatsapp instead.
“1-800-ChatGPT is an experimental new launch to enable wider access to ChatGPT,” the company said.
The generative artificial intelligence tool has seen rapid growth since its launch in 2022, surpassing 200 million weekly users in August.
