BINTULU: Joy was evident on the faces of 84 orphans from the Peryatim Orphanage Complex here as they were taken by the Farley Foundation for a festive shopping spree in conjunction with their Kasih Ramadan programme at Farley Supermarket on Wednesday (April 12).
Farley Foundation president Eijing Lau stated that the foundation had always focused on community development and wellbeing within its ecosystem.
He mentioned that since its establishment in 2021, the Farley Foundation had been committed to giving back to the community. In this context, he said they strove to provide the highest support to initiatives and movements that benefit society.
“With the Kasih Ramadan programme, we aim to bring joy and happiness to these children.”
At the same time, Lau expressed thanks for the opportunity to share joyful moments with the orphans, and hoped that such programmes would bring joy and hope to the children.
“I would also like to express my thanks to Bintulu Development Authority CEO Datuk Muhamad Yakup Kari, and all the residents here, for making this event even more memorable,” he added.
