MUKAH: Over 400 took part in a Christmas gathering held at the Mesra Civic Centre here last Saturday night.
The event was organised by the Association of Churches Sarawak Mukah Branch (ACS Mukah).
The night started off with praise and worship as those gathered sang “Silent Night” together with a choir group, followed by readings in Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese and English, with a sermon by Pastor Rebina Bohoi.
There were also entertaining segments throughout the night such as the singing of Christmas songs, dancing and sketches performed by the participating churches.
The gathering came to an end with the final blessing by Rev Wong Che Sing, followed by a final song.
