“The project is put under Rural Transformation Project (RTP). Two projects namely Kampung Subak, and Kampung Kejapil had been completed.

“Project in Kampung Opak is still in progress while project in Rh. Jarek will be commencing in the near future,” he said at the Key handing over ceremony of the project.

Meanwhile, Ripin expressed his gratitude to the government for the project and adding that most areas in Lambir now have their own KEMAS kindergarten buildings.

“We are very happy now because almost all areas in Lambir are having their own KEMAS Kindergarten buildings which provide convenience to our kids to undergo their early childhood education.

“Previously they have to use other buildings like community hall.  We also thank those villagers who have been willing to give their land to construct the new buildings,” he disclosed.

Also present at the event were KEMAS Miri Divisional Head, Eric Gray, department heads and community leaders.
