KUCHING: Swift action by an owner in Taman Sri Sarawak here saved his shop from being damaged yesterday after a cut off fuse caught fire.
Thirteen personnel from Kuching fire station were dispatched to the scene after a distress call was received at 7.54am.
Upon arrival at the scene at 7.55am, they were informed that the owner had put out the fire using a fire extinguisher.
No injuries were reported during the incident and a team of Sesco personnel was called to scene to inspect the damaged fuse.
