SIBU: Padi FC’s dominance in the PSRC Cup League 2025 continued in spectacular fashion after they thrashed Pengayau FC 8-0 at the Permai Synthetic Pitch here on Saturday.
Under the guidance of head coach Aslan Asmara, the title contenders collected another three crucial points to strengthen their position in the competition.
Club veterans, Paul Sambang and Affysharul Afendi, led the charge, each netting twice.
Paul struck in the 10th and 20th minutes, while Affysharul added his goals in the 57th and 89th minutes.
The other scorers were Alfazi Yaman (5th min), Mohd Hazazi Hasri (13th min), Collin Bin Dennis Adeni (54th min) and Khairul Jemi (68th min).
“I am pleased with the convincing win tonight. The most important thing is that the players secured the three valuable points,” said Aslan, who credited his players’ fighting spirit and maturity over the full 90 minutes as key to maintaining their winning momentum.
The PSRC Cup League 2025 offers lucrative prizes, with the champions set to receive RM6,000 along with a trophy and medals
The runners-up will take home RM4,000, third place RM2,000, and fourth place RM1,000, each with their respective medals and trophies.
