KUCHING: Pahang royal family member Tengku Arif Temenggong Tengku Fahad Mua’adzam Shah Ibni Sultan Ahmad Shah paid a courtesy visit to InvestSarawak yesterday (Jul 9).
The visit aimed to enhance understanding of Sarawak’s economic direction while exploring opportunities for strategic collaboration in line with the state’s development goals.
He was welcomed by InvestSarawak chief executive officer Timothy Ong Wye Ern, who briefed the visitors on the state’s investment landscape and key growth sectors.
He also outlined the agency’s role under the Post-Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030 in supporting inclusive and sustainable economic growth.
Tengku Fahad expressed strong interest in Sarawak’s forward-looking vision and acknowledged InvestSarawak’s role in facilitating investment and interregional economic cooperation.
Discussions also touched on collaboration in sectors such as green energy, digital economy, infrastructure and high-value manufacturing, areas aligned with Sarawak’s investment priorities.
