SELANGOR: Athletes competing at the 2026 Para SUKMA cleared the registration verification process smoothly with no issues reported.
Representatives from the Sarawak Para SUKMA contingent arrived as early as 2:30 pm at the designated registration verification counters at Dewan Raja Muda Musa today.
The process was conducted to verify the athletes’ names according to their classifications, as well as the events they will be competing in throughout the Games.
The verification also ensured that all details submitted by the respective teams were in order ahead of the start of competition.
Para SUKMA Selangor 2026 will take place from September 5 to 10, involving 10 venues across the Petaling Jaya and Klang districts.
A total of 10 para sports featuring 369 events will be contested throughout the Games.
The sports include para athletics, para swimming, para badminton, para table tennis, para chess, para archery, para lawn bowls, para tenpin bowling, para boccia and para powerlifting.
