KUCHING: A teenage motorcyclist was rescued from being trapped under a vehicle after a road accident that occurred at Jalan Kolong 2, Matang yesterday.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received an emergency call pertaining to the 11.48am incident.
Following the call, a team of firemen from Petra Jaya fire station was deployed to the scene.
Upon arrival, the team found out that passersby had rescued the 17-year-old victim who was trapped under a vehicle due to the accident.
The victim was then given early treatment by the emergency medical rescue service (EMRS) unit before being sent to Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further action.
The driver and passengers of the vehicle were reportedly unharmed in the incident.
