KUCHING: More than 1,000 Isuzu D-Max owners participated in the Isuzu Merdeka Convoy held across Malaysia in conjunction with Malaysia Day.
The event was inaugurated from 39 authorised Isuzu dealerships nationwide, gathering 1,028 Isuzu D-Max owners who journeyed to attractions in their respective regions with their families.
During a flag-off in Seremban, Isuzu Malaysia’s chief executive officer, Tomoyuki Yamaguchi, expressed that the event had evolved into a platform for customers to celebrate patriotism and unity.
“It is truly heartening to witness people from various walks of life in Malaysia sharing a collective love for the country,” he remarked.
Additional activities comprised orchard visits, picnics, durian feasts, sightseeing at tourist destinations, island trips, and extreme games throughout the programme.
Kenichi Kudo, Isuzu’s Chief Operating Officer for the Light Commercial Vehicle Division, highlighted that the event also motivated participants to explore Malaysia’s attractions while driving the D-Max.
“It was an outstanding opportunity for owners to admire the country’s beauty while relishing their drive,” he added.
