LIMBANG: The Youth wing of Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Bukit Kota has lodged a police report against Wan Mohd Azri Wan Deris, the account holder of the ‘Papagomo’ Facebook page, over a post which allegedly insulted Sarawak.
Wan Mohd Azri made the post defending Tourism and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz following his recent spat with state Tourism, Arts, Culture, Youth and Sports Minister Datuk Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, which had drew condemnation from Sarawakians.
In lodging the report, PBB Bukit Kota Youth chief, Councillor Sufian Mohat wanted the relevant authorities to investigate and take appropriate action against Mohd Azri.
Meanwhile, PBB Bukit Sari Youth chief, Councillor Semie Nasip advised the public to refrain from making seditious remarks on the issue as it would undermine harmony in the country.
